It had to come and here it is now. Fall 2012 you will see the release of the iconic Clarks Originals Desert Boot in several camouflage options. Next to a more classic green camo, they also present a navy camo, both with a tonal pattern, thus not making it too attention seeking. Yes, Nike is still not done. We are currently attending the second day of the Nike Innovation Summit in New York. Yesterday we previewed the Nike Lunarglide+4, the Nike Flyknit Racer, the Nike Lunar Safari, the Nike Current 2012 and the all new HTM Collection. Today we continue with more innovation, less on the product side, but more on the technological side of things.
Nike today unveiled Nike+ Basketball and Nike+ Training, two new experiences connecting digitally enabled footwear with interactive mobile applications that together deliver a revolutionary sport experience. First unveiled for running products in 2006, NIKE+ has grown into a community of six million digitally connected athletes and is set to expand with the recent launch of the NIKE+ FuelBand, a wrist-based device designed to track everyday activity.
The new Nike+ Basketball experience breaks down the user’s game to deliver information and measurement, which in turn provides motivation. Nike+ Basketball measures how high, how hard and how quick players play each game.

Ahead of its Geneva Auto Show debut, Bugatti previews the new Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, which will be one of the most powerful street cars to ever be produced.
“With an increase in power up to 1,200 HP, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has
entered a new dimension of open-top driving. Optically aligned to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which holds the current world speed record of 431 km/h, the Vitesse also impresses with its dynamic driving characteristics.Bugatti’s engineers have developed the current Grand Sport, with its 1,001 HP and 1,250 Nm, into an even more powerful vehicle. The Vitesse’s maximum torque is now an impressive 1,500 Nm. The increased power of the new roadster’s 16-cylinder engine is made possible by the four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers. The chassis has also been modified to support the power increase.”

Prada goes the sneaker/wingtip fusion route with these newly released calf leather Wingtip Derby sneakers. 5 colors are offered including some two-toned and all tonal pairs. We’re not mad at these. They all look rather nice and we bet they’re comfortable, too. Last season Prada started a big trend with their Espadrille mid-sole infused Wingtip Brogues. This seems to be a more sporty version of that. How do these compare with the Cole Haan LunarGrand?

By now you should have seen a good part of the new Supreme Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. As usual the collection features some great pieces. Not everything is great, but where is that the case today anyways. Yet we do as always find some strong pieces that will look great this season.
Here is now one of those products that make Supreme, Supreme. They present a collaboration with Hohner on their classic Harmonica. This kind of stuff nobody else would think of, yet they once again managed to work on an iconic product. Featuring their box logo and further engraving, the harmonica will drop in the coming weeks.

Today the official European dates for the 2012 ‘Watch The Throne’ tour by Kanye West and Jay-Z have been announced. Aside from London, Manchester and Birmingham in the UK, they will also be playing in Zurich, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Antwerp, Frankfurt and Dublin. Make sure to keep a close eye on your local ticket sellers, because these will go quickly.

It looks like Kanye West chose London Fashion Week as the official jump off point for the Zen Grey colorway of his forthcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers. Spotted this afternoon at Somerset House London during the Mark Fast show, Kanye was seen wearing his Nike samples alongside a Balmain denim jacket and an Acne sweater. Look for these shoes to start rolling out around March.
