Today we get a first preview of an upcoming collaboration between French artist Fafi and Swiss watch brand Swatch. The black colorway, seen here above, features one of her signature characters. The watch looks great and we cannot wait to see the full collection.
Karl Lagerfeld has been spotted for a while with a Chanel iPad case, but it has never been available at retail. That is about to change, as the case has made it into the Spring/Summer 2012 Pre-Collection of the French luxury brand. Not only does the case come with the signature Chanel quilted lambskin upper, it can also house not one, but two iPhones along with the iPad. Look out for it at stores now.
At the 2012 NAMM Show, Korg introduced their new Kaossilator 2, a palm-sized synthesizer that is played via a Kaoss x/y touchpad. The little guy is filled with 150 sounds, including Synth Leads, Basses, Acoustic Instruments, Chorded Sounds, SE, Drum Kits and Rhythm Patterns.
The Kaossilator 2 combines PCM drums, modeling synthesis and two crossfade-able Loop Recorder banks. The Kaossilator 2′s Dual Loop Recording Banks can overdub your touchpad performances as many times as you like. By adding layer upon layer to a simple phrase, you can create complex loops and then save them using the microSD data slot.
“Boasting a powered-up sound generator, kaossilator 2 delivers synth and drum sounds spanning a wide range of genres, plus dramatically expanded loop recording. kaossialtor 2 is packed with capabilities that can be enjoyed alone on or together with other people. Use two loops to create DJ-like mixes. Use the internal mic to record guitar, vocal, or other audio source — just as with a looper effect. The Organic Electroluminescent (OEL) display provides superb visibility. Add to that a touch slider for ease of use, microSD card data saving, plus a built-in speaker and mic. All of these features reflect the enhancements incorporated into the sleek and exciting kaossialtor 2.”
Here below you can check out the official introduction video.

Bedwin & The Heartbreakers remains to be one of our favorites from Japan. Always refreshing and easy to wear, yet garments that all come with that extra little twist. Here we present now their new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.
The line is made up of a great selection of pants, especially in terms of colors. Nice and easy to wear fleece pieces are also in there, next to shirting, outerwear and a strong range of accessories. Look out for the collection to arrive in stores in the next couple of weeks.

Ikku means ‘coming and going’ in Japanese. This references that fact that the brand cares where their materials are coming from and ultimately where the world is going to. These iPhone 4 cases use recycled and organic materials – the fabric used on the iPhone 4 cases is the excess material created from cutting out MacBook and iPad sleeves. Now available at Firmament.
For those that like to plan their sneaker purchases in advance, we present to you a look at a couple of Nike Air Max 1 Summer 2012 sneakers that will be releasing down the road. Both are rather standard with the materials as they combine suede and mesh, but they take an interesting turn with a rather unique patterned panel where the Swoosh lays. Will these be on your radar come summertime?
We’ve seen a number of Year of the Dragon-themed releases lately, but nothing more extravagant than this special-edition Rolls-Royce Phantom, which carries a jaw-dropping $1.2 million price tag. What’s more remarkable, Rolls-Royce has completely sold out of the vehicle. The company won’t reveal exactly how many it’s sold, but we know that the entire inventory had been bought up within two months of the car’s launch in August 2011. Special features on the vehicle take the form of a gold-colored “coach line” along the exterior, as well dragon designs embroidered on the leather upholstery and inlaid in the wood trim. The sales figures are sure to enhance the already impressive numbers Rolls-Royce posts in China, a country that now boasts over a million millionaires. Rolls Royce is said to have plans of adding ten more dealerships in China by the end of the year, bringing the total to 24.
